Lil Wayne started as a political rapper. His stance on social injustice has never been questioned until now. Lil Wayne's song Georgia Bush from his Dedication 2 album was named one of the top protest songs according to Time magazine and Tie my hands feat. Robin Thicke from The Carter 3 spoke out against black Americans being treated as second class citizens. Back in August during a Tidal performance Wayne screamed "We are black, Black Lives matter". But in a recent interview with Nightline Lil Wayne is unfamiliar with the Black Lives Matter Movement and suggests that he cant identify with it. Check it out below.
