 Tyler The Creator needs to stop his shit. Not sure why he had the audacity to say he should win a Grammy for Best Rap album when artist like Jay Z, Rapsody, Kendrick Lamar and Migos are in the same category.
Tyler The Creator sat down with Shane Powers of The Shane Powers Show. Tyler stated “Yes. I think I should win.” Tyler said when asked. “Something different needs to win. I love Jay, but fuck dude. You have Grammys, dog. And I love Kendrick, and I think Damn was awesome. 'XXX' was my favorite song on that album. But fuck, nigga nominated for six other ones. Let him get one of those."Tyler also said, "I think it would be tight if I won, just because it's something different. And there's no one speaking for those people. I don't even want to use the word weird, because I feel like that's a cheap word—or eclectic. But [this is for] the 'me's'. We're rarely up there. I know if I win something, they'll feel like they won something.” I think Tyler is dilusional. 2017 was a great year for hip hop. I personally would like to see lady MC Rapsody win. I think Rapsody album Laila’s Wisdom was phenomenal and did not receive the recognition or promotion it deserved.

 TDE hits the road for The Championship Tour. The 30 date tour features 7 of 8 TDE artists Kendrick Lamar, SZA, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, SiR, and Lance Skiiwalker . Isiah Rashad wont be apart of The Championship Tour. Fans are speculating on Twitter but no details why Rashad won’t be included have been released. Tickets will be Friday January 26th through Ticketmaster.

DJ Akademiks has supposedly had a run in with the law that can land him in jail. If you jump to 3:37 on the video below you will hear DJ Akademiks claiming he may get locked up in the morning. Social media has taken this live stream and ran with it. I personally think DJ Akademiks is full of shit and is pulling a little stunt for a buzz. What in the world could this dude be getting locked up for. I’m waiting on details to surface but as of right now I suspect Akademiks is doing anything he can to remain relevant. XXXtentacion abuses pregnant women yet he’s convinced people are trying to do “EVIL THINGS” to him1/3/2018  Ironically I watched XXXtentacion XXL freestyle last night and I was so disgusted. Dude is talented but I can’t support the Satan worship fad that’s corrupting the youth. Crazy how people will do just about anything for a little clout nowadays. Anywho... I log onto HotNewHipHop today and I see XXX thinks people are trying to do evil things to him according to his Instagram story, when in actuality he’s done evil things to himself. If you guys are familiar with XXX multiple run ins with the law, XXX is currently on house arrest and he’s allowed to hit up the studio but that’s about it...  Im over grown men crying about doing time for crimes they commit. XXX was charged with aggravated battery of a pregnant woman. After hearing he abuses pregnant women it’s hard to sympathize with him.
 Quavious Marshall better known as Quavo was a standout athlete. The athlete turned rapper held the record for most pass completions at Berkmar highschool in Gwinnett County in 2009. Since then Quavo has been seen shooting dice with Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones and also exchanging competitive words via Twitter with Houston Texan quarterback Taylor Heinicke who surpassed Quavo’s record in 2010. Quavo expressed his ongoing love for football last night by celebrating with the No.3 Georgia Bulldogs after their 54-48 victory against No.2 Oklahoma. The double overtime, jaw clinching game landed Georgia a spot in the National Championship game which will take place January 8, 2017 at the Mercedez Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. This year’s National Championship game will have a halftime performance from Kendrick Lamar.
