Clips from Mary J Blige's new Apple Music show The 411, premiering September 30th surfaced the web. (Video Below) The clips feature Mary J. Blige singing Bruce Springsteen's American Skin to secretary now democratic primary candidate Hillary Clinton. Bruce Springsteen's wrote American Skin about the 1999 police shootings death of Guinean immigrant Amadou Diallo. I was confused watching the video because it is quite comical and the dramatization is similar to a soap-opera. Hillary Clinton looks confused while Mary J.Blige gives a soulful rendition of the song. My initial thought while watching the video was, Hillary Clinton will do anything to try and capture "the black vote". I'll be tuning into Apple Music September 30th to catch more of the shenanigans!

Carlos "Shawty Lo" Walker best known for his songs Dey Kno and Dunn Dunn died early Wednesday morning in Fulton County. Shawty Lo Audi struck two trees and he was ejected from the vehicle. Shawty Lo was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other women were in the vehicle and are being treated.

Shawty Lo founded the group D4L known for the hit Laffy Taffy and won Rookie of the Year BET Award in 2008. Laffy Taffy also topped Billboard Hot 100 in 2005.

Shawty Lo leaves behind 11 kids and 10 former partners. In 2013 he attempted to start a reality tv show about his life which was later cut by Oxygen television station.
