Creating compelling content is not easy. Today digital media is over saturated with the same videos, quotes, etc. Creating content and receiving minimal views can be discouraging. Here's how you can stand out amongst the crowd and create a story that is unique and gravitating. 1. CONNECT - Your audience needs to feel as if your content is believable. Be transparent as possible, so viewers can relate.2. CHALLENGE - Encourage your audience to commit to your brand. Ask your audience to do something in support of you.3. CONFLICT - Tell your audience about the problems you are facing.4. CONQUER - Tell your audience about the problems and feats you have overcome while trying to get your message to out.5. CONCLUDE - Sum up what your ultimate objective is.

I admit procrastination is something I battle with. I will hold off starting on tasks for weeks. I decided enough is enough.... PROGRESS OVER PERFECTION. Doing a little bit is better than doing nothing at all. Here's a few tips I have used to get shit done. 1. Put Down Your PhoneMy cellphone is a huge distraction. Sometimes I spend hours browsing online without consciously knowing it. If you have an iPhone you can set time limits that will disable social media and other distractions using the screen time widget. 2. Have Daily GoalsI look over my goals everyday. I try to finish at least 3 of my goals daily. Sometimes I will start on a goal and pick it up the next day or hours later. 3. Detach From EverythingSitting in absolute silence for 10 minutes daily helps me focus and think clearly. After my 10 minute meditation period, I've noticed I am more productive. 4. Reward YourselfAfter I finish a goal or task I do something I enjoy. The harsh reality is, working toward your goals is usually not a fun process because it requires sacrifice of some sort. 5. Examine Your ProgressAt the end of the day I reflect on what I accomplished. I ask myself "Kanise could you have done more today"? If there are goals I started but didn't finish I make it a priority to work on them the next day. I also talk to myself. I know some people may think its crazy but I remind myself of the great things Ive done throughout the day. I feed off of my progression.
