As a 23 year old woman I have recognized that reckless sexual behavior is no longer shocking and to many very acceptable. In college I witnessed friends have one night stands and perform sexual acts on people in public. After reading about abstinence in Russell Wilson's and Ciara's relationship I was not only happy but releaved that other people notice sex to soon is ruining relationships. Sexual explotation of the human body is at an all time high. Many of us engage in social media activity daily and most of us spend more than an hour browsing our timelines and feeds on various networks. Everyday I encounter a picture that shows the human body in an outrageous sexual position or performing a sexual act. We're all human... We find these vulgar pictures intriguing and become engulfed by lust. Although sex is a wonderful way to connect to your partner, constantly seeing sexual images may make you wonder "hmm am I "really" being satisfied sexually and should I seek more". Not to mention the body alterations being performed by plastic surgeons...many of us begin to sought after a smaller waist, bigger buttocks, larger breast and or even a gender change. With the world at our finger tips will you ever be satisfied sexually with normal looking people? Permiscus behavior is often a result of not finding exactly what you want... Do we still believe in compromise and true love? Of course the world idolizes men that have multiple sex partners and women who freely show their bodies to attract men with tight clothing or no clothing are often considered "bad". But what about us who would rather wait and find a genuine connection with someone. Luckily it's not to late to change your way of thought but it will be difficult/ nearly impossible to develop a connection if the relationship was solely "physical".
